Support for RGBWWW Strips?

Hi Resolume Dev Team,

I'd love to be able to control RGBWWW Strips with Resolume. Those have Red, Green, Blue, Natural White and Warm White LEDs. (5 channel per Strip)
There seems to be no color format for my usecase in the drop down of the fixture editor.

Is there a way to implement this feature soon or find a proper workaround as this is kind of a deal breaker for my current deployment?

Kind regards,
Lukas 🙌

What's the color temp in kelvins for those White colors?

For now I'd do RGBW pixels+ 1 dummy channel set to 0. then you can duplicate this fixture as many times as your pixel count.
Or maybe try the RGBWA.

Hi Zoltan,

sorry, for the late response in this thread. I finally got you the datasheet for the strips they use. Its attached below. It's a 24V RGBWW LED Strip with:
  • R @ 622 nm
  • G @ 521 nm
  • B @ 468 nm
  • CW @ 2700 K
  • WW @ 6500 K

I would really love to see a way to input the color metrics data from the datasheet into Resolume so any kind of LED setup can be suppported when it comes to color mixing. What do you think - is this a sensible solution? 🙌

Kind regards,
Lukas
