when mapping efx to midi keys, I can't get the midi note assign input box to stay hilighted in order to assign a midi key to. in other words I double click an effect to map a midi note to it, i click the input box but it only stays pink for a millisecond. i used to be able to click it continuously while hitting the midi note i wanted and it'd eventually save it. now it just won't work at all. is there some midi setting that might cause this?

i'm using a korg microKontrol.

ok so i solved it, all it took was a little patience. the midi-clock on the micrKontrol was causing it to de-focus.
