Hi everybody,

I change my set APC40 MK2 and APC mini to Novation launch control XL and Launchpad mini MK3.

I changed my setup because Akai is so brittle. (3 times I change the faders on the apc 40 , but is not the point of this topic).

I like the apc40 MK2 because on resolume we can change the color directly on resolume.

Now, with the novation mk3, we can't change profile. for exemple, when the clip is activated, my pad color change in red. Now is not possible to change the state button.

So, in the future, is possible to add the same features of the apc 40 in resolume for the Launchpad mini Mk3 ?

Or maybe i did miss something ?

Change the output velocity and lookup the manual for that device to see what velocity corresponds to what color.

But i tried this, my button stay green with any values...

I've used the LaunchKontrol XL for years and it works just fine, I would think this Novation product would be the same

Nope, is not possible, ipassed 3 hours on it but i don't have the good result ...

In Novation component i made custom mode in drum session. I tried with only 1 line on the bottom of the launchpad.

I put 8 midi note from C to G note.
on colour is green
Colour is red
so on novation component, when is OFF is red and when is on is green.

In resolume i attributed midi note on clip.
Immediatly at launch i've this, when clip is not empty my pad is green, when is empty is red.
But, when i launch a clip My button stay green, and i would like to be blue for exemple. So for this i got to edit midi, i click on my clip and i change value like this for exemple :
Empty => OFF
Disconnected => green, so 21 velocity (i seen it on the launchpad MK3 manual)
Previewing => Yellow, 74 velocity
Connected => blue, 45 velocity

I close my edit midi, and my button stay green Like at beggining..

I tried this with CC button but nothing too...

EDIT : Ok sorry, i need to jump in programmer mode ! I need to hold Session button and Stop Solo Mute button, to pass in programer mode, and it's work !!

Sweet! Glad you got it sorted. I figured it would have to work. I have several friends using that pad with MIDI feedback.
