i found out another bug in beta1 - and in beta4 it's still there. i put all playhead controls on a midi keyboard, backward, pause, forward and random (4 keys) for each of the three layers. i press backward, pause, random - they all work fine for each channel, but forward plays the movie backwards. the ONLY forward command via midi that works, is the "forward active channel" and "active layer". the other three forward commands for layer 1,2,3 play backwards.

any suggestions?

ahm, i'd like to mentio another thing. it's actually a wish for a new version.
there is one damn cool midi command - toggle play direction of the activated layer. but only for the activated layer...
i wish, i wish... i'd like to have that for layer 1,2,3, so there is no need to change the current layer before changing direction in playback... :-)

i haven't got a clue why the output goes black, do you still have this problem. Does this happen every time you use resolume and everytime you change the opacity?

jmode:
i will look intot the midi commands.
And i guess it wouldn't hurt to put the toggle play direction in for every layer ;-).

Advice:
During Live perf: try to have backup VideoTape
with this Config: your Resolume PC + VideoPlayer connected to a Panasonic MX30 (you rent it).
.. in case of trouble > you change to the Video Player and... you can fix your PC.
