synchronization

Hello,

We use Resolume 7 for live shows.
Resolume manages the video projection part with mapping and audio media. the different parts are sequenced by columns, each including a video layer and one or two audio layers.
when testing with artists singing live, Resolume is used. and there after several readings or jumping from one column to another the audio is no longer synchronized with the video.
is there a method to avoid this de-synchronization which sometimes cuts off the beginning of the sound part or simply shifts it?
Thank you for your help.

The audio dropout around clip loop points is one of our high priority tickets.

Out of sync sounds like using compressed audio formats.
Are you using mp4 or similar?

Hello,

I am happy to know that this is a priority for you. Thanks.

but on the other hand, we absolutely do not use any compressed file, only wave.

How is the sound out of sync? Constant delay or does the audio go out of sync gradually?

Hello Zoltan,

Difficult to give an absolute rule.
But I would say it's more of a gradual desynchronization, by dint of moving from one section to another to make the artists rehearse.
The only solution we found is to restart the session before the show but it's a risky solution.
It also happened to us to pass the whole show several times without problem (without having skipped a section) and that all of a sudden the problem reproduced.

Hi,

Do you have audio in video projection part?
If your show based on autopilot all clips must have audio track, even there is just silence.
