prevent double click on invert playback to restart clip

Hello,

I am using MIDI to change the playback direction of a clip. It is quite a nice and basic effect if you play something visually rich and artsy!
All is good with the midi, I set one button to playback backwards and one to playback forward. Also I have a slider for the speed. I attached a screenshot for clarity.
The _issue_ is that if I am playing, I can get distracted and press twice on the same midi key, be it the feedforward or backward playback. Then, the clip will restart or go to the end! I could mitigate this behaviour by sliding the timeline to the interval I am playing with, but it s really not what I want to do!

Is there a way to prevent the double click from restarting the clip?
Thanks

All parameters work this way in Resolume. I don't know of a way to change this on the user side.

Thanks,

I found an easy and actually smarter workaround.

I use the Piano Mode for the MIDI key associated with Reverse Play, in the MIDI Shortcuts setting.

It means that if I want to play backward, I have to keep the MIDI key pressed. When I release it, it restarts playing forward. It works super smooth, and actually nicer than what I proposed at the beginning because I have to use only 1 key.

Best,
