Clip transition

Hi everyone,
I'm working on a theater piece and I've just 2 media who I need to have a "Luma Key Invert" transition. Now i use a layer with this kind of transition to do that but i want to reduce the layers numbers (around 75).
I try with the blend mode in clip proprieties but the result is not the same.
I try with a enveloppe on opacity but nothing...
Someone have an idea ?

(sorry for my bad English, I'm a French guy)

Have you played around with the Layers transition controls? Specifically the Smoothness parameter.

Thanks for your answer,

Yes I try,
I try with a black background layer too for the lumakey parameter. Nothing work...
I clean my show and i "write" all my transition to have the same all the time.

I think the video opacity in clip proprieties is just alpha, unrelated to blend mode.
If I understand Resolume correctly, the clip's blend mode determines how the layer opacity effects it, but the bend mode for transitions is entirely separate and can't be assigned per-clip (since a proper transition is effecting two clips at once).

So, I don't see a way to have different types of cross-transitions on a single layer.
But if you are transitioning too or from black, layer opacity can be controlled by things like the dashboard or the transition phase. Maybe that could help.

Thank you for the answer.

I find an other way to reduce the number of layer. I use a third part software to warp my output and active slice with osc Trigg bitween the 2 soft.

At first I search a way to able or disable slice in arena but it's impossible. I duplicate layer and group to route virtual output to main output. But I've something like 15 groups with 5 layer but only 15 layer use in same times.
