How to stream a DJ+a VJ

Post by Chumbaz »

Ciao all

I have to stream a show where:

- A DJ is +using his console with Serato to produce the music show
- A VJ is using Resolume to create visuals and to manage the video part of the show (including 5 live cameras). He will connect his computer to the DJ console's audio output too to use audio automated parameters in video effects.

I have to stream the show.

I will use vMix to do this, capturing the DJ audio output coming from the console and the Resolume video output via NDI, and joining both in my vMix computer and streaming out from there.

Of course, the two audio and video signal are not in sync: what do you suggest to do? Change the routing? Adding delay somewhere? Thank you to any support ciao

Delay is an option. You can read here how to do that: https://resolume.com/support/en/screens

Audio is normally faster than a Video-feed....so...just delay your audiofeed in vMix

One way to preview and check if your delays fits is to use the LiveLAN Streaming option in vmix
