Resolume Forum

I'm working on a NYE Countdown with a digital clock I created in Wire. When Wire detects the system time is 11:59pm I have it play a 1 minute video using Wires "Video Player" however it would give me more flexibility if I could have it trigger a clip or column in Resolume. Is there any way to achieve this?

Sure I could manually set the Duration of the clip in Resolume's Transport but this means I have to trigger the clip at a certain time, I like the fact this is triggered based on the system time.

This app does OSC triggers based on SMPTE timecode.

Run your patch in Wire, Syphon/spout the texture to a clip and OSC the clip trigger to Resolume.

I alread built this out in Wire a few years ago, it's on Juicebar called NYE countdown. You need an OSC loopback to get it working for now so I would recomend Chataigne.

@Arvol would you be able to link me to your juicebar project, had trouble finding it using Google search.

Clearly I'm a bit late getting back to this, I ended up trigger it manually NYE but would like to learn how to do this for future.
