Integrated graphics Intel 900 - is it that bad?

Hi,
I'm looking for a cheap lappy for Resolume and OSX86.

From what I found out, OSX86 is very likely to work well (QE & CI - not available on anything else) on Intel915GM and Intel 900 integrated graphics. Plus M 750 on DDRII should make a nice config.

Has anyone used lappy with Intel's integrated 900 card on Resolume?

I know, everybody says it's not gonna work well, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried?

Resolume is not a HL2 - it doesn't really use GPU - it should be working well...

thanks for any advice

In the end I found out, that double booting OSX86+WinXP on pcMac seems to be some kind of a holy grail.
In the end I got acer 5024 with 512MB RAM and dedicated 128MB X700 graphics. And I also get dropping frames pretty easily - So it seams to be more RAM issue than the gpu itself.
