Snapping Value in vertical direction - f-curve - stay on curve type

Hi, is it possible to snap values in vertical direction? Im experimenting with beat sync. When I have - for example - 9 beats it snaps on every beat. Now I thought it would be great if I can type in a snap value and if I want to change the scale or opacity or ... of a clip snapping every x % would be great instead of having to type in every value by keyboard.
2. F-Curves would be awesome in the envelopes, like the graph curves in blender
3. is there a way to stay on a specific curve type? When I have - like in my first example - 9 beats (using for 9 slices to blend) and want to just use hold curves, I need to click hold for every curve point im adding. Staying on the last used curve type would be quicker to set everything up.
maybe this all works but im to new to know, but I thought this might be cool ::)
