any coincidence????

have you ever experienced electrical/high tech parts behaving strange or malfunctioning? Ok, it may be just a coincidence, but still... they never broke - u use them 500 times sober and nothing happens and then they break (or malfunction as my computer now) precisely when youre brain malfunctions too?

Or maybe just a good stuff?

I was rather talking about playing around at home

But in the end I found what freaked me out so much last time - I was experimenting with assigning knobs to resolume, and I assigned 'fade interface ' to one of them, didn't check out how it worked and then forgot... Other bits, were probably thanks to earlier power failure..

yheh, kind of wierd stuff happens when you use fade interface , always find it good if someone is behind watching me, as I get a little freaked out. should put a pick of some nasty porn as background to offend such people

i've never done a liveset without weed...

it would be interesting to see what % of vjs use/ have used drugs. because I work in the house music world I see a lot of E, so much so you just get used to people chewing a lot while talking to you.

Most of the times I am stoned during my live acts, never had any problems during the performance. I did have loads of problems prior to events (external hd falling down the stairs, broken startengine of the car and that kind of things), but those were when I was sober:p

What substances I take depends a bit of the kind of performance, if it is a visual performance in a club or one of our residencies, a major outdoor festival or an (audio)visual live performance during one of the events we organize in abandoned squatted factorys. It also depends on the atmophere and the kind of music being played (ie disco or schranz hard techno)
Escpecially the parties in the factories are really experimental on wicked electro, tekno and drum and bass sounds, with a drug fucked audience, I guess we're just leveling with the audience.
