NVIDIA RTX A5000 or different?

Post by Jakub112 »

Hi everyone,
please advise if the NVIDIA RTX A5000 card will be a good choice for Resolume Arena in this price class or is there any better alternative in your opinion?
Usage:
- Multi-screen display on P2 and P3 LED screens in mosaic mode
- Using all (4) DisplayPort outputs
- FHD/4K resolutions and above
- input signals from 2 cameras (Decklink duo2) preferably in 1080@50/60p

Thanks,

A5000 is a good starting point. For anything close to 8K the 6000 would be my goto. You can only use 3 output's as your UI has to be on one of the outputs.

The AJA Corvid line cards are all sync'd outputs. Not sure if Resolume has support for their 4K card yet, but that card does 8K sync'd outputs.

For 3G camera's the Corvid cards work really well for ingest.

Novastar also has a box (DS80) that takes 8K in and send's out sync'd (4) 4K signals. It's about $8k though (Think of a FX4 v2 that never got developed).
