Tunnel effect problem

Post by Soarer »

I get a periodical short stopping or stutter when turning up the speed parameter (default preset) like every second or so. I really want to use this effect but this odd behaviour doesn't look good. Is this a known bug?

I rarely get replies on this forum. That's a shame and I don't quite get it since Avenue is such a great program and there should be plenty of enthusiastic users willing to help.
Anyone else who's getting this "stepping in the Tunnel effect's travel"?

Anyway if I have a problem like this is it better to contact Resolume?

I think users are starting to get pretty busy with gigs, or it works fine for them.
Are you using DXV video clips to drive your tunnel effect?
Do you see an FPS drop in other footage and the FPS counter when the effectc stutters?

No idea why but now I'm not getting it anymore. Before I could actually reproduce it by putting Checkered generator on one track and Tunnel on the next. Now it's smooth so that's great. I'll write back here if it happens again. I only used generators so no video clips.
