MIDI Mapping

Simple MIDI Mapping feature like on ableton (there is a midi button on the interface, when clicked you the interface goes a bit gray and you can click on a control, then move a knob on your midi devices, and it learns it, then you click on the midi button again to go back t normal mode.. it takes about 2 seconds)... its a problem to do midi mapping live, i usually have to do everything before i start the show, and have little flexibility when i want to change something..

You can alreay save/export and import your MIDI config...do it in the preferences window. i keep a backup of it in case the file becomes corrupt.
May i also suggest preparing your setup BEFORE the gig

it is also usefull when you dont have so many knobs or midi controllers.. you can recycle and use them for different things during a show, and not be doomed to be using a knob to control one thing...
you can still change it live, but it takes too long....
resolume is designed to be used live, and easier midi mapping is for me a must

There is a much better way of "recycling" a controller.
Resolume records the MIDI channel number as well as the command. If your MIDI controller has an easy way of changing the channel number (most do - a programmable knob or function key), then you can record multiple configs ahead of time, each one on a different MIDI channel. Then you can switch between alternative configs by simply changing the MIDI channel number on the device.
