Suddenly the "layers below" option for the video router is not working. It does nothing.
All the other input options work as expected.

Is the video router in a group?

It's not. The behaviour appears to be very random. Everything works as expected in most cases.
Having said that, what happens if it's in a group? Does it only relate to the group then?

Yes, groups are like sub compositions, they start rendering on empty, and layers below will only take the group layers into consideration. When you set the router to a specific layer, then it should get the texture directly, also from outside groups.

If you see a setup which breaks consistently, we'd love to check it out.
