Graphic wipe/ bump

Hello!
I'm sorry for the dumb question, I've spent a day trying with no result.
What I need to do is graphic wipe or bump for Resolume Arena (like a feature existing on production switchers). In another words, every transition on specific layers must be covered with an alpha-alpha video clip on a higher layer.
Of coarse it can be done with a bunch of OSC commands from external software, but for end user it is not comfortable, he wants just to change clips on a layer with a mouse and have such transition performed.
I thought I would do that with Wire (I haven't worked with it before today), but for the nodes I thought I need, like "Video Player" (for playing an alpha-alpha video inside a Wire transition-patch above the transition of two clips) or "OSC out" (for pushing the alpha-alpha video from another (higher) layer in Resolume), there has to be an external trigger, I haven't found a way to trigger it automatically with a start of transition somehow.
Can somebody give me a hint about how to implement what I'm trying to do?
