"No Input" option for MIDI assignment

Here's what seems to be a simple one: it would be great to have a "No Input" option for MIDI assignments, just like there is a "No Output" option.
Useful for monitoring the status of a function without wanting to alter it; for example, assigning a MIDI button indicator to show "playing" status.
