About a week ago i updated my gpu driver to a newer studio edition (536.99) so i could try and troubleshoot some problems i was having in da vinci resolves newest update. The next time i was in resolume i noticed that i was dropping frames pretty regularly (i wasnt dipping below 60 beforehand) with the 3D gpu pinned at 75+ percent (dont know if thats normal or not. just hadnt really seen it that high before). Decided to roll back to an older driver (532.03 not studio) and the problem is persisting. Ive tried just about every solution that ive seen posted online and i cant seem to get it back to normal. At this moment ive reverted all nvidia settings back to default. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Im currently running resolume 7.12.0 on a laptop that has a 3080, i9-11900k, & 64 gb RAM.

Welp... This reply is written with mixed emotions...

I seem to have found the problem after 2 or 3 days of stress and youtube tutorials. On the plus side: super easy fix.

Turns out I had a bunch of 4k prores clips hidden deep inside one of my punt pages. Im going to gladly take the L here and continue on valiantly. Til' next time comrades. lol
