Transition Sliders with Auto Pilot

Hello!
I'm using the transition sliders quite heavily in my new setup - but I'm experiencing a big problem when using them
If I have my layer set to have Auto Pilot on, and the layer transition time of 2 seconds, the transition only starts when the clip has looped back to the beginning - so it looks really jarring , definitely wouldn't be able to get away with it live
Is it possible to have a setting that the transition slider will activate when the clip playhead is 'x' seconds away from the end of the clip - so that way transitions will time perfectly and play smoothly even way the layer is on auto pilot
Would be really great to see, currently anything to do with auto pilot and tranitions just doesn't work , but be great if there's a workaround or an addable feature;
