Freeze/hiccup/hang at transitions

What's causing this hang at transitions? It's not all the time maybe 25-50%. What's the hardware limitation that might be the cause? Other than 94% memory usage overall (though Resolume is only using 13gb of the total 64gb), no other process (cpu/gpu/ssd) is registering high in Task Manager.

Are you using DXV video clips?
Clips or composition set to beat snap?

Yes, using DXV.
No Beatsnap. I use midi CC to trigger transitions.
Edit: Looked at Media Manager and there are a handful of clips that were MP4 (out of hundreds) and some still images (jpegs). Those were recent additions though, this problem existed before that. But I'm converting them right now nonetheless. Do still images need conversion?

Yes, stills will trigger a lot faster when converted to DXV.
Could you upload a screen recording of what you see, and send us the Resolume log file via the feedback tab in preferences?
Thanks!

Converting the stills seems to have done it. I did have two stills that have been in the project since the beginning, one of which was on a muted layer to itself (it's a radial template for when I project in a dome). But yeah, so far, problem seems to be solved. This is so much better, thanks!

Spoke too soon I guess, it's still doing it.
Will put together a concise video later today but just sent the log and if you have a couple minutes, you will see it do it in the link in my signature. It's not every transition, maybe 1/3 to 1/2.

What are the other apps using that kind of memory?
High RAM usage can also cause system slowdowns, when accessing new files.
How does the VRAM usage look like?
I see int he logs the nvidia drivers are a bit older, are other drivers up to date?

Well, this is one thing I don't understand, the memory usage. Does this add up? (see attachments)

Just wanted to show this, regarding memory usage. Just updated nvidia driver and restarted, though don't think the driver is the problem.
After restarting, this is the memory usage immediately after restart, with Resolume restarted, and then with everything restarted. Before too long, within a couple hours, memory usage will be back at 95%, guaranteed.

As mentioned, 95%........
It's like memory is being gobbled up and then not let go of.
