NVMe SSD-Risk of overheating Motherboard?

i´m loading/playing my clips directly from external SSD ( Samsung T5 ).
I was kindly advised by Arvol to install NVMe in the internal slots instead of using external HD, there seems to be 2 slots in my Asus ROG GL702VI-BA018T. would definitively want to do that instead but worried about overheating the motherboard. Doesn´t seem enough space for heatsink either( necessary? ).
Was considering Samsung 990 Pro NVMe ( TB? ). fill 2 both slots?
Grateful for advice.

Hi :)
I've been running dual 2TB Samsung 990pro nvme's in several of my machines. No issues. To my memory, only 4TB and up have the OPTIONAL heatsink. I've never seen or meet anyone who actually uses them.

My machine has been on all week and I've been rendering and 3D printing from said machine all week, here is my current temps if this helps? Most drives top out at around 160F

Hi :-)
Great! Thanks for most valuable help/info! I will go for that.dual 2 TB-do you split all clips on 2 ( does Resolume have to relocate on 2 drives? )or duplicate ( for safety )?Any partition set up?
Specific reason for 2 x 2TB( except for cost obviously ).
Thanks again for input!

I keep my content on my D: drive (2TB) and all my software and 3d models and scenes for animation (along with some games) on my C: drive (2TB) If I ever get in a situation where I need overflow from my content drive I'll put some on my C: OS drive but I've only had to do that once or twice.
