Hi,
did anyone successfully record resolume mixes live via firewire to miniDV cam?

When i connect my cam with my laptop and start resolume, i get a connection and can drop the camera picture via sources/capture drivers
into the opened deck, that works fine.

The other way round to record the output signal does not work.
I can see my camera and even control it (start, stop, record, etc), but
all i do get is a black screen on the camera.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve that problem?
Do i need a special datastreaming driver or whatsoever?

thanx for any hint

resolume will not ouput by fire wire. if you want to record the best bet is to plug the RCA out of your graphics card into the imput of the camera, or a DVD recorder

I used an S video out then did the audio via L and R rca cable using a y splitter and headphone to RCA cable. All that jazz went into my capture box and bingo.

I use a simple and el cheapo tv-card (45 euro). Output from my laptop svideo-out into the svideo-in in the tv-card and there you go.
