I have the defaults for all layer's play mode set to loop, for some reason, some jpegs randomly change to play and clear. the only fix I have found is to delete the jpeg from the layer and drag it back in again. Has anyone else had this problem ?

I don't think we've heard of this yet.
Do you have midi or keyboard shortcuts set up to the clip play directions somewhere?
