Live Video settings

Hi
I'm using a webcam connected via USB 2.0. I want to alter the settings but Resolume doesn't seem to capture anything over 30fps. When I go on 'format' in the source menu it won't let me increase the frame rate or change anything. It just says "Format is not currently available"
Anyone any ideas to how I can increase my framerate?
