M1 Max vs M2 Max

I am currently using an M1 Max MBP with 32 gb of RAM that I have to return to my employer. Since the M2 Max refurbished machines are essentially the same price as an M1 Max, I'm wondering if anyone can weigh in on the comparison of those two machines for use with Resolume. Also what about the M2 Pro?

I don't have a straight comparison, but in general, you can definitely see that newer ones are always a bit better and a bit faster so I would always try to find the newest one with the most memory and the highest processor that you can effort.. Good luck and have fun with your new machine
