issues with inability to find files/effects/sources/etc

I am having the same problem as I have seen posted elseware.

My first run of 2.3 ran smoothly, I loved it and called one of my partners and said we need to test this over the weekend and then probably buy it.

This morning I ate my words when I powered it up and could not get anything in the files/decks/sources/effects/audio tabs. The only thing I can click on is the system recovery directory from the system recovery partition - Resolume seems to want to use that as it's default directory but not allow me to go anywhere else.

I have tried all of the previous suggestions - the font bug, deleting the settings, uninstalling/reinstalling, and so far its all the no avail.

I have a 2.7ghz AMD 64 mobility with 1gb RAM, 128mb ATiMobility Radeon, 100gb HD NTFS, Windows XP SP2 with latest updates.

Please help, I'd love to buy your software, but I certainly can't explain purchasing something that ceased to work after six hours.

Hi Djaric,
i would really want to help you but in your case it seems hard to fix.
you allready tried uninstalling so it seems that there is a different issue we are not familiar with.
How are your other programs running, is your computer still running fine when not trying to use resolume?

Did you install some freeframe plugins, if so wich?
Did you reinstall resolume in the same or in a different folder, maybe you can try installing it in a different folder.

just a few thoughts,
maybe someone else experienced the same problems, but we don't have first hand experience with this problem.

Cheers
Edwin

Hi Levon,
it seems that there is more to the problem then you think.
His sources/effects etc tabs are empty. so not only the file browser is giving problems.

Cheers
Edwin

It was a basic install...i'm going to attempt installing in a different folder.

FYI - My fellow DJ/VJs all love the program, so we are hoping we can fix this because it would be a great asset to our shows

I've had similar problems with the 'browser pane' (ie the central column with files/fx/audio etc...). Our main computer (shuttle) has a permanent boot for VJing and runs pretty flawlessly, last gig I used it the whole FX pane was blank, with nothing listed, I believe it followed through to the files area too. 4 or 5 restarts of Resolume later and I think it finally fixed itself.
Another problem I've had in the same area is my mouse clicks not working in the on the browser pane. I can scroll and click on the rest of resolume and it works but clicking on the file list area does nothing. I can even change tabs but in each of the panes no click works.
