I've created a patch that I can make much more interesting while in Arena, utilizing the FFT audio reactivity. It would be very handy to be able to quickly define current state of patch in Arena as Default setting. I also want to build in midi mappable RESET button that would reset all parameters to that Default Setting. Perhaps it could be saved in the compositon and/or the wire patch itself. Of course it is possible to manually transcribe the state of a patch in Arena to Wire, but it would be very tedious.

Copy parameters in Arena and paste into Wire? Or better yet, give WIRE the ability to access the Patch presets in Arena!

Would anyone else see value in this?

A couple of my recent wishlsts have been osc from a wire plugin into arena, so you could define some states or automate arena, and also midi mappable plugin presets, so again you could hit states easily to set up looks for a particular track. I think automation/state saving is a big mssing feature in VJ software, which has always been more about incremental jamming, than shifting to big looks easily. So yes, we definitely do need this kind of thing!
