Two separate simultaneous outputs

Newbie here. Is it possible to output to two different projectors (each with their own different content) from just one copy of Resolume on one computer? (I'd like to do a multi-screen show but would prefer not to have to buy a second computer to run a second screen).

Yes, Resolume can output to as many outputs as your system can support. Framerate will be determined upon what hardware you are using.

Assuming that my computer (a 2023 MacBook Pro with M2 Max chip) can play two completely different videos (each on its own layer?) to two different projectors via two different outputs... well... is that how this is done? In other words, can I send layer one to Projector A and layer two to Projector B? Or is it a matter of sending Deck 1 to Projector A and Deck 2 to Projector B?

Yes, you can do it a few ways,
one would be routing the layers to slices in your two Screen outputs:
https://resolume.com/support/en/slice-routing

Slices can also get intput from groups (Arena only), so you could have two completely different mixes to two outputs.
The Monitor panels can be set to specific groups, or outputs for preview:
