Absolute beginner needing laptop guidance

Hi
Im right at the beginning of my vjing venture and would welcome any advice that can be offered on buying a laptop. I am a designer and will need to use it for a few other things so I would like to get Resolume on there along with my design packages.
Any suggestions?
