I've got a bit of problem with slider controls changing the value of a layer in "5 step jumps" (dont know how to say it in english..increments? anyway what i mean is if i press ctrl and + the value changes from say 23 to 28..id like it to change from 23 to 24...quite often i need
full control of both transitions and speed...good example is use of
swf 's with moviclips synced in them...they get completely fucked up if i cant set exact framerate.
it used to be this way,no?

I just use click&drag or mouse wheel for this but I still get similar annoying jumps in framerate.
I tried turning the mouse speed way down in windows control panel and it gets a bit better, but I end up crawling round the screen!
Edwin & Bart - can we have perhaps CTRL-SHIFT +/- to do fine-tuning?
