I want to record a video mix live to go with an audio mix made in Ableton Live. I play the audio through media player and record the video mix wtih Resolume and I want to sync them together in Premiere. When I import the avi file from Resolume the video mix is running much quicker than the audio, I can slow the video down but this makes it impossible to sync accurately. Why is this and is there anything I can do to fix it?

I have just the same problem. It looks like Resolume record just 12 fps but the Avifile plays at 25fps.

Problem is that when recording Resolume skips some frames because the system or hard disk is not fast enough to cope with 25frames/second
what you see in playback are the effective frames recorded (not skipped) played @ 25fps.

you probably need a faster system / hard disk to record properly.

record to dv camera using composite connection. this is te most satble way to record
