Does anybody know a workaround so I can copy a freeframe effect - rename it and thereby be able to save several versions of my effects settings. (love rebelle - tnx IUA...)

I remember an old post, that I cannot find, that explained why this is not possible. Something with each freeframe efx having individual id numbers...? Is it possible to change these..

freechain by pete warden will let you do that.

each freeframe fx has an unique identifier. So if you copy the file both files will still have the same id. When resolume loads if searches for all plugins but if one is found with a duplicate key it will be ignored.
So that doesn't work, but like levon said you can use pete's freechain app to make new fx out of existing ones and you can modifiy the existing id's.
