Resolume sometimes wakes up cranky

Resolume will sometimes start in a bad way - ie the file browser will be blank, the path in the file browser will be a row of ......, no decks, no screen display.
Quitting and restarting usually fixes this.
It seems unpredictable, sometimes it happens right after boot, sometimes it happens when restarting Resolume, no real pattern I can detect.

yes we have seen that happen once or twice and because it,s so random it,s very hard to debug. Maybe you could activate logging and send us the file?

i am experiencing the same thing in my setup. the big worry is that it will happen in an event with no way to avoid it.
this saturday (23.9.06) that thing just happen!
in my tests at home i checked it on a computer with: pentium-d 3ghtz, 2gb ram by kingston, and an ati x700SE.
in single display mode, there was no problem, the program woke up like a queen... i could browse my hd and choose the files.
when i wen to the show i connected a secodary display (the projector) and went into dual display mode (extend desktop), i have never experienced such a thing, as the program did not want to wake up. i could see the GUI , but in no way could i surf my folders and choose my videos, also ive noticed the effects, and decks were gone!
ahhhh - i said... and got back to single diplay to check if it helped...
surprisingly i could see my folders...
i think thats the start of fixing this, as it only happened when i was using single display, which of course is no way to vj....
i had to use my trust worthy - scan converter and zoom into the output window... but i really feel that its a wiered problem, no one talks about it, and people really need this fixed... as resolume is used through out the world by millions of vjs, and they need to trust the program they use!!!!
please some one - fix it!!!
please help!!!!

hi all,
We are working on this. If someone has some more info on when this bug appears let us know. I experienced this problem as well but it's hard to recreate it. And if can't recreate it it's very hard to debug and fix.
So any help is appreciated.
Cheers
Edwin

I noticed the 1st time I run Resolume, it will happen eventually, a matter of time. If I got default decks, Resolume will probably not going to load them all;.
The 2nd time I run Resolume it's fine, will rarely happen.
So I always run Resolume, quit and run again.
