6 TV Setup

Hi, I need to build a machine to run 6 tv (full hd) + monitor.

Each tv has different parts of the same video, like a video wall, but they are not in contact with each other, there are 20 cm aprox between a tv and the next.

Questions:

Will I need the video outputs to be in sync? I think with 20 cm gap between them maybe it´s not needed.

Would you use a 3 output laptop with a datapath or would be cheaper to build a PC with 2 RTX cards to get 8 outputs? I think this is my main option.

The system has to run 12 hour / day, 30 days.

Any advice will be welcome.

Thank you!

I am a Mac user, but instead of a datapath, you can also use these ones. they are much cheaper. They have less set up options and you'll need some converters but it will save you almost €1500 per unit. https://www.aja.com/products/ha5-4k

Thank you, I will take a look on it. I think with this kind of setup, I would have 4 sync outputs and 2 not in sync. Would it be a problem in separated screens?

That depends a bit on your content but I don't think that will be a big problem. If you would do a lot of stroboscope kind of of things maybe then you get stuff that's out of sync but even then that probably will look cool. ;)
