is there a way to have At blending mode back in 2.4 final? Alpha luma is cool but I would rather use both

I would also like to have it back!

When i do flash text files, I make my texte white with a fake drop shadow black. That way the text is visible on dark and bright layers underneth.
The background of my flash movie is gray

The Transparent mode works perfectly, except i cannot be faded in. it's only on/off.
