I would like to see Alpha Channel support in the next version. I hear there is some support for 1bit alpha with some codecs but I would like full 8bit support. In addition a track matte for each layer would be cool too. Using the alpha/luminosity info of another image/clip on a specific layer. Like the track mattes in After Effects.

Id have to agree that proper alpha channel support would be really useful.
People I know who are running ArKaos have been utilising that for years !!
