ok i think that this problem has been discussed several times...but whats the best option ? I need a good Quality capture device. I tried several low priced USB/Pci Capture7TV Cards and the output was always bullshit. Pixelized, lagging and interlaced.
Ive got several surveillance cams that should go over a simple camswitcher directly into resolume. But the pic is completely interlaced and distorted. i interpolate the input and use deeinterlace as plugin, but the output is noit very nice to see....
Whats the best Capture device for high resolution and as less lag as possible ? Any suggestions ?

Did somebody tried a Analog-DV Converter ? What about delay ?

I use the DFG which converts DV to analog via firewire. it doesnt eliminate the latency completely, but it's much better than capturing via firewire alone without going through the DFG.

But i dont want to convert DV->An...i Want to Capture the signal.
