hi ive recently upgraded to resolume 2.4 and for the most part it is fine however..
i was doing a gig last night and it kept acting very slow and jittery. i had to restart the programme a couple of times eventually the slowness stopped.
this is the second time this has happened. im not sure why it does it as im doing what i usually do on the programme. the "error report "box came up also once resolume closed. why does this have to happen at a gig!? the programme can be moody on ocasion but usually it is grand except for occasions such as this.

operating system: windows xp
processed: pentium m(centrino) 1.73ghz
video card: ati mobility radeon x700
file type: avi ,mpeg,jpeg
codec:mostly indeo 5.10 or cinepak

thanx

It's a funny bug..

On my laptop I have two XP installs:
'Full' - all drivers, editing software, resolume, morgan codec, quick time other vj soft etc.
and
'Performance' - used to be just basic drivers, morgan codec, quick time alternative and resolume. However, It's not really a fresh install anymore.

The strange thing is that the 'half second freezes' happen only on 'Performance' profile - which means that it is a problem with codecs or system settings /drivers. They don't happen on 'full' profile. Yes, I get lags when activating clips, but the freezes don't happen.

my config:

Acer 5024WLMi
os: win xp pro
Athlon M-34
ati mob x700
7200rpm internal hdd
1.25 GB of ram
Alesis photon x25

but I don't think its a problem with hardware
