I'm looking for a way to do Ambient Colors. Is there anyway in resolume to switch between different colors without having to create a flash file of each color that I'd want to use. The ideal situation would be to change the color with a midi controller. Any idea? Let me know if i need to explain a bit more.

generate a White picture, use the colorize effect and control the colour parameter by midi. This is one Solution. other ways are possible

We made a source plugin just for this.
Got to teh sources tab and drag the HSB color source plugin form the freeframe category into one of the empty channels. You can also use the HSB Gradient one if you need a gradient.
Right click to get to the parameters. You can configure your midicontroller to change these parameters.
