Programmatically open Advanced Output

Greetings Everyone! 
I'm working on building and application using the Resolume API and I want to be able to open Resolume with Advanced Output already set. I've been trying to accomplish this to no avail. Has anyone accomplished this before?
Any guidance or info would be greatly appreciated.
