Weird Bug with "To Texture" Node

Hi all,
I'm attempting to solve some issues with my video sequencing patch in Resolume Wire. For instance I want to be able to have clips fit fill or stretch to the composition in the event that there are multiple clip sizes being used, but when I use the to texture node to try and render my clip to a scalable texture, and try to connect an attribute to the exposed Resolution input of the To Texture node, the connection instead attaches to some far off, unreachable area in the upper left of the work area and resets the To Texture node. It's possible I'm doing something wrong or trying to make connections that aren't possible, but this seems bizarre.
The To Texture node behaves this way regardless of Sampling or Resolution mode, and it doesn't matter if it's an allowed node when dragging off of the input or if a node is selected separately and then connected.
Please advise! Thank you!
Cheers,
