hey, im using 2.4 on a hp pavillion p4 with a sony mini dv cam via firewire for live capturing. everything works fine and with a good performance. but when i turn of the dv cam while running resolume and turn on the cam again the the dv input cracks. is it possible to turn off/on the camera without cracking the driver in resolume? that would be nice, because the akku of the dv cam only works for 45 minutes.

did you try to refresh the capture devices ?
Perhaps do a refresh after turning off your cam, and the again after turning it on....or get you a AC-Adaptor for your Cam

yes i already tried this. the ac adaptor is very short so its not very useful for filming.
