BeamLab: the new platform for the moving image, VJ- and Video art.

Every three weeks we organize an evening in which we create an environment for people from all over the ' movingimage' -spectrum and try to bring them to exchange ideas, debate and to get inspired. In order to achieve this, we invite a great diversity of people to present their works and thoughts on the future of the art of the moving image. Check www.beamlab.nl for the program.

De hoge opkomst bij de eerste BeamLab doet vermoeden dat er inderdaad grote behoefte is aan het samenbrengen van iedereen die zich bezighoudt met bewegend beeld. Ditmaal wordt onder leiding van moderator Dick-Gert Smid het debat geleid en het bewegend beeld ontleed, met onder andere te gast Punchcard/Deadpixelsociety (platform voor visueel, interactief en technisch experiment), Nils Mühlenbruch (Bits & Pieces Visual Abuse Drifter TV), Resolume (VJ software), 178 Aardige Ontwerpers en Telcosystems (computer art/software).
