Who got some tips for a newbie in vj-ing?

I've got not much experience in vj-ing but only some information on the internet.

Who got tips for me to make my performances go well. Like how I can mix my files perfectly on to the music and so on.

you could try the ableton-resolume combo for the perfectly mix to beat
