2 questions, 1 beamer-, 1 photo-related

Hi all,
Currently we're using Resolume and a beamer for ourselves, doing roadshows. But many people want to hire a system, so they can show photo's without a lot of effort. Is it possible for resolume, to make it "look" into a directory or something, so that it shows pictures that are in that directory? So if someone has taken another i.e. 50 photos, and he puts them into that folder, resolume goes and sends them to the beamer?
Question 2:
In a few weeks I'll have to do a show containing visuals, but also some karaoke-numbers in between. Can I hook up my karaoke-player to my resolume-computer, so that I can mix the karaoke-stuff with the visuals?
Thanx!

I believe I understand him.
What he calls "beamer" is just the multimedia projector.
On his roadshows there are probably some photographers taking pictures of the crowd and sometimes he is being requested to show these pictures while he is playing his on visuals.
Well, he wants Resolume to be able to recognize a photo sequence inside a specific directory and perform some kind of automatic play/performance.
As far as I know, Resolume does not do that, specifically.
Silva, you will need to quickly load all images into another package and create some avi files to play in Resolume.

just drop multiple images into the same video slot, playback speed is then controlled by the speed fader.

Cool!
This actually trully works. That had never crossed my mind.
Anyway... even 1 FPS is still too fast for a sequence.
It may be desired to show them slowly. Like 3 secs per image...

to slow it down even further (or speed up faster than 100) change the playback mode to bpm, and then change the number of beats to some outrageously high number! (or low number for faster play)

For the karaoke system you are going to want a video capture card. Then you'll just dedicate one layer to the karaoke system.

Hmm...
That would be an option, but I would have to switch between resolume and xp right? This is not possible I think? Or do I connect my camera and just look into that folder with resolume?
The karaoke-stuff will be different. I'd like to buy (
Karafun) Studio, to make your own songs. But since resolume won't play audio, I wanna use a second laptop, and a simple video-mixer.
Any simple (read: cheap) solutions for mixing 2 video signals? And I do not mean like switching a TV to another channel
Thanx!
