hello
wondering if any body has experienced this any feedback would be great.
my setup:
desktop xp pro athalon xp 2000
256ddr ram 4gig sys drive
pagefile on 40gig drive
clips and decks on the other 40 gig drive ,both 7200rpm drives ntfs
the bug:
my keyboard shortcuts that i set in the preferences section of the program disappear and revert the default setting,like active layer keys,
i use f9 f10 f11 instead f1 f2 f3
also the global effects keys f5 f6 f7 and so forth are gone after
restarting the computer or even just shutting down the program there gone. it happened last night at a performance. i remapped them on site,not a big deal i know but a big
neusance, it happened at home before
the show i deleted the 3 .fff file in the resolume directory didnt help it at all.

other than that its a solid program.
what ive gotten from it and been able to share with a couple of cats in a room or a hundred people in a room has been worth the price.

But with my midi shortcuts, they also dissapear when I shutdown Resolume...

did you try and save your deck,once you done your shortcuts ?
think the bug comes from here

i save the decks but after a reboot they are gone.
i am going to reinstall the os
xp pro or w2k pro
i have both
any suggestions.
i turn off all the crap in xp anyways

Doesn't matter if I save the decks komar, the shortcuts still dissapear. But shouldn't the program have a save option for just for the shortcut/midi settings (just an idea ) instead of saving it's settings with a deck.

i did some testing and found out that there is a bug that prevents resolume from saving the shortcuts in the generator browser..
i hope to fix that soon so that the new version supports this again...
we are also working on a more flexible solution for the generators, in the future you will be able to make your own folders with effects etc...so you can regroup them to your own needs...
so saving of shortcuts doesn't work in the resolume 1.1.4

the saving of the preferences should work by the way...maybe there is a bug accoring to the layer shortcuts.. i wil check this
