To tell you the truth, i think resolume is really missing one thing, layer properties improvement.
in my vision as a user my sugestion is that layer properties will be included with the program instead of having to apply them with effects.
things like colorkey, xypositioning, and zoom.

also i would like to be able to apply a diference mode(multiply etc...) and at the same time, still be able to apply opacity, masks or transitions.

from a programmer point of view, i know there's only a few working on the resolume project but still, do you think that this could be included on one of the next releases?
this question goes to the users too, do you think it would be of any help for you when vjing?

The next major version of resolume will have more compositing features like position, size, etc. And will include masking clips & layers. It,s a lot of work though so do not expect it any time soon.
