Display problem, reoslume confuses display monitors

Hi, i am running a PC with an ATI X1400 Mobile radeon graphics card, when I plug my s-Video into my preview monitor and switch on resolume my 2 displays get swapped, my resolume interface ends up on my preview monitor and then both displays flicker and become unusable, i then have to restart
Before starting resolume everything displays fine, playing video on the preview monitor works perfectly.
Any ideas? I thought it was the ATI drivers so I moved over to the Omega ones, but no difference
I leave for a gig tomorrow so time is tight!
Thanks

Resolume always starts the interface on the primary display unless you tell it to do otherwise so make sure you have your laptop screen configured as the primary display. You can do this in the advanced display settings.

Interesting related problem I came across when XP x64 was using display 2 as primary.
The problem I noticed for me was that Resolume 2.4.1 overlay windows such as "do you want to quit" and all right-mouse activated menus all seem to appear on display 1 (underneath any full screen outputs - thats why you may not see them), not the primary display which in my case was 2.
The Problem was caused by forcing my NVidia 8500GT to detect TV displays, which means that the TV output on my card always started as display 1 according to XP. Regardless if you disable and re-enable any other displays, it will always occupy display one (even if unplugged).
The solution to this is:
a. Turn off "Force Detection of TV" in the driver.
b. Always plug in a cable and have it under load for your video card to detect the display.
c. Ensure that your Primary display (that the Resolume interface will run in) is actually display 1.
I hope that helps somebody out...

I had a similar problem but worked it out, i had the monitors reversed. As a side note, if you screw up your displays it's REALLY not fun fixing it, my main beef with the non standard resolume interface. Although it looks new and different than other windows interfaces, it's not that friendly at different resolutions, i.e. it can't be resized and some buttons are outside the window and can't be clicked on, notably the preferences button.
BTW, what was resolume programmed in? Looks like flash or something.
