Hi, I think a new or an update on Screen Capture, so we can choose it's X,Y position instead of folowing the cursor (maybe an option to choose) so we can use another application image on resolume.

Possibility to assign more things to midi controllers instead of notes like: Active Opacity mode on a controller (turning controller to choose luma key, alpha...)
A way to control video speed like arkaos: controller on center (=64) clip is stopped, turning below center (>64) video goes backwads, turning controller above center (<64) video goes forward, the more you turn the controller more fast video is played, I'm already using this way, but I needed to change the software on my midi controller, on controller change it sends the controller position AND a note that controls video back or forward.

A 3d tunnel effect like arkaos would be very cool too.

Some more things:

Effects opacity always visible, not just when a plugin is loaded, so effect can be set and not shown.

Possibility to automatize effect opacity (by mouse, sound, etc)

Possibility to automatize layers speed

In and out point for automatization of layer opacity (and speed)

Possibility to automatize everything by BPM with values like 0.5 0.25 or 1/2 1/4 1/8 (half and quarter beat..., very useful for me). Would be very cool to assign a automatized control for something with bounce in just one bpm (by now, bounce will take 2 beats to go maximum and return to zero)

A way to configure automatization before showing, like an on off button.

A way to configure each midi device individually, maybe a configuration interface like DMX's one.

A line every 20 files on browser and/or a mark on each currently loaded file would help a lot

Edwin is actually building this right now.

This is indeed an interesting way of scratching, we'll probably not do this in the next version but we are keeping an eye on this to see if there is an elegant way to implement.

We hate 3d tunnel effects so we,ll probably not do it, but i,m sure someone has already made a 3d tunnel freeframe effect?

If you hold down ALT when loading an effect it will be loaded with 0 opactity.

We are working on proper midi-mapping right in the interface, the midi configuration of resolume 1 & 2 is a bit confusing.

Thanks for the update on what we can expect from the next version. Like everyone else I cant wait to try it out.

Maybe I have confused you, I'm from Brazil, my english is some poor. Explaining:
Having BPM automation by 0.5 we can set Bounce, so at first half beat it goes full scale, and at second half beat it will return to zero, understand?
By now, we can only set BPM to 1, then, on beat 1 it goes full and on beat 2 goes zero.

Another sugestion:
a horizontal gradient (opposed to one that comes with resolume)

What about the quality of all my sugestions?

PS: I found that resolume dont change Flash dynamic texts if they are inside a movie clip, Am I doing something wrong, or it really dont change?

Another: A way to save the entire set of decks, to load all decks with just one procedure.

if you have yout decks arranged in to folders you can load all 8 decks by double clicking the folder header instead of each individual deck

3 more:

-A random BPM play mode: Resolume will play a random beat section of movie. Actual bpm mode just play consecutive beat sections. Resolume will place playhead at start of a random beat section of movie, play it until its end then star over and over.
Example:
Movie with 4 beats:
[1------------------------2------------------------3------------------------4------------------------]
Resolume will play from 2 to 3, then 4 to end... randomly

-An adjustable BPM playing curve, to adjust the linearity of playhead speed from start of a beat section to its end... like we do in flash tweening or animating at 3d Max.

-Using a Midi jog set to Playhead as endless, when playhead reaches the end or the start of movie it dont loops, its normal? If not, an option to loop.
